The simultaneous work restriction is controlled by a configurable parameter that, when enabled, enforces specific validations for task start and manual time logging in Work Orders, ensuring there are no overlaps between tasks that should not be performed at the same time.
Access and management of this parameter are done through the following path in the system:
"Settings → Modules → Work Orders → “Restrict simultaneous work on multiple tasks in WOs”.
When the "Restrict simultaneous work on multiple tasks in WOs" parameter is active, the system applies the following validations:
- If a responsible person already has a task in progress in a Work Order, the system will prevent starting a new task for the same resource.
Note: Although this function is active, if a task is put on pause before starting another, it is possible to log consecutive times on different tasks, as the system only prevents time overlap when both tasks are in normal execution.
