Fracttal One offers an option in the Configuration module > Modules > Assets that allows users to enable automatic synchronization of asset locations. When this functionality is enabled, any changes in the location of an asset will be immediately reflected in the associated Work Orders and Work Requests, without requiring manual intervention.
How to enable automatic updates

Access the Settings module from the main menu.

Go to Modules > Assets and locate the option to Automatically Update WOs and requests when asset location changes.

Enable this option and save the changes to apply the configuration.
- In addition to enabling this option in the Locations tab, it is necessary to ensure that the equivalent option is also enabled in the Equipment tab.
This functionality ensures that changes to asset locations are automatically updated in all Work Orders and Work Requests. It improves accuracy and traceability, preventing data inconsistencies and facilitating maintenance management.
Notes:
- The automatic update feature will only be available once the corresponding option is enabled.
- If any edits have been made to the assets, those changes will not be considered when activating the setting, as the functionality does not apply retroactively.
- It's important to note that this action will also affect the information regarding work orders in all their statuses (in process, under review, completed, and canceled).
