The multi-locations feature allows assigning more than one location to the same human resource within Fracttal One. This way, a technician or user operating in multiple plants or facilities can have a single account in the system, with access to all the locations where they work, without the need to create duplicate records.
Step by Step
Assign multiple locations to a human resource
Go to the User Accounts submodule from the settings menu.
Locate and select the human resource to whom you want to assign the locations.
Within the resource profile, go to the Add Multiple Locations section.
Add one or more locations and limit the content the user can see. (If no filters are added, the user will have access to all locations) In the search field, type or select the location you want to add.
Click Save to confirm the changes.
Once saved, you will see the list of locations assigned to the resource updated in their profile.
Note: Once location-type assets are created in the assets module, user accounts can be assigned to those locations. It should be noted that localized accounts have certain viewing restrictions because, when a user account is localized, it can only view information contained in hierarchical levels below where it is localized.
