The database backup add-on for Fracttal One allows you to schedule automatic backups, making their creation easier without manual intervention. Backups run in the background and can be stored externally, ensuring secure and centralized storage.
It is possible to generate a full database backup using the button located at:
Settings → Account → Database Backup.
Note: The first recurrence must be done manually.
Manual Configuration
Access the module Settings → Account → Database Backup.
Click on Database Backup and select the type as 'manual'.
You will receive the information directly by email once the operation is complete.
Connection Configuration
To use the automatic backup functionality, you must first have a connection configured for external storage. This configuration must be done from the module:
Settings → Auxiliary Catalogs → Type: Connections
Fill in the creation fields to establish the connection by following these steps:
Type: Select the option Azure Blob Storage
Description: Include a clear description so that this connection is easy to identify.
Storage account name: In this field, enter the name of the Azure storage account (Storage Account Name). This account is the main identifier in Azure and will be used to connect the Fracttal One platform with the Azure data storage service.
Container name: This is the name of the container within the Azure storage account where the backups will be saved.
Path (optional): The Path defines the route inside the container where the backup files will be stored.
Access Key: This is the access key for the Azure Storage account.
Enable automatic backup: By activating this option, this feature is enabled in the corresponding session.
Once the connection for backup, such as Azure Storage, is created and enabled, it can be selected as the destination for automatic backups, choosing between 7, 15, or 30 days. After that interval, the system will automatically generate and save the backup in Azure Storage.
Note: This functionality is offered only to the account super administrator.
