The Fracttal One platform generates unique QR codes for each asset, allowing users to access information, record work orders, and update data quickly. The use of these codes improves access to work orders, eliminates manual errors, facilitates traceability, and digitizes processes, making management more efficient.
Label printing formats:
Standard printing format in Fracttal One: For general needs, it is possible to use direct printing from the platform, using any conventional inkjet or laser printer to print QR codes on regular paper or adhesive labels.
Custom formats with external software: Although Fracttal One allows printing QR codes in a predefined standard format, there are other software options that offer greater flexibility, allowing customization both in the format and in the design of QR code labels.
1. Standard printing format in Fracttal One:
To print QR codes directly in Fracttal One, follow these steps:
1. Identify the assets you want to print by accessing Catalogs > Assets.
2. Select the assets in the list.
3. Access the side menu.
4. Select the option "Print QR".
By clicking, the system will display a new window in PDF format with the information to be printed or downloaded.
2. Custom formats with external software:
To use this type of external software, it is necessary to download the information associated with the "QR Code URL" field of the assets for which you want to generate labels. To do this:
1. Access the assets list view and proceed with exporting this information.
2. When exporting, an Excel (.xlsx) file will be downloaded containing all the asset information, including the QR code URL, asset name, description, and other details previously registered for the selected items.
To facilitate label customization, it is recommended to keep only the most relevant information, removing unnecessary columns. Among the data that may be useful, it is suggested to keep:
QR code URL – To ensure that the code can be generated correctly in the printing software.
Asset code – Facilitates quick and accurate identification.
Asset name – For better visualization and association of the code with the corresponding asset.
Depending on the needs of each operation, additional data such as brand or serial number can also be included, as long as they contribute to more efficient identification.
3. Enter the data into the external software and generate the customized labels.

Each external software has its own method of use; however, generally, the process involves importing the downloaded file and configuring the printing according to specific requirements.
You can choose to customize the label design or maintain a uniform format for all, adjusting size, layout, and other elements.
Best practices
Use durable materials for harsh environments.
Maintain good contrast between the light background and the dark QR code.
Place in easily accessible locations and protected against wear.
Test before mass production.
The durability and readability of the codes largely depend on the type of material used. For more details on how to choose the right material, check the article Choosing the material for QR code printing.
Application in Fracttal One
Generate the QR code through the system.
Print it on the appropriate material.
Place it strategically on the corresponding asset.
Scan it with the app to access information and work orders.
Note: Direct printing of QR codes from Fracttal One is a simple functionality offered by the application and does not allow modifications. If you require any editing or specialized printing, it is necessary to select the corresponding asset and then export the URL associated with the QR code to use it in external software intended for label editing and printing.
