Tasks with event-type triggers are only executed as unplanned tasks, and there are different ways to manage such events. To do this, you must first generate an unplanned task (from any of the available options) and select an asset associated with a task plan that includes tasks triggered by events.
Once this is done, the system will display a new window with all the tasks triggered by events for that asset, at which point there are 3 ways to manage the event:
- Launch Event: This option allows you to execute the task as if it were a planned task coming from a task plan. When launching the event, the task will appear in the pending tasks module (the scheduled date will be the same as the date the event was launched).
- Bring in the selected task's data: This option allows you to execute the task with all the details added to the plan (as if the event were launched), but as an unplanned task. Additionally, this option also allows you to edit the task details without affecting the associated maintenance plan.
- Skip: This action allows you to generate an unplanned work order from scratch. In other words, you can register a work order that is not related to any of the events associated with that asset.
After defining how the event will be managed, simply continue with the usual procedure to generate the work order associated with the task in question and complete the process.
