The "Related Assets" tab in an asset's details allows you to view the immediate child assets (first level) directly from the main asset's record. This feature simplifies hierarchical navigation between equipment and sub-equipment without needing to use tree views or external filters, offering a more direct way to manage relationships between assets.
Note: This tab only appears when the asset has directly associated child assets and includes exclusively the first-level child assets.
Steps to use the "Related Assets" tab
Step 1: Access the Parent Asset Details
Go to: Assets → [Select Parent Asset]
Verify that the asset has previously associated sub-equipment or child assets.
The "Related Assets" tab will automatically appear in the asset detail tab bar.
Step 2: Navigate to a Child Asset
Within the "Related Assets" tab, locate the child asset in the table.
Click the "View" icon in the actions column.
The system redirects to the selected child asset's details, maintaining the navigation history to return to the parent asset.
