All Assets View

The “All Assets” view has a special tree view functionality which allows the user to visualize all the assets in a structured way according to their hierarchical level, starting from the highest level to the lowest. This structure is determined by the “is Part Of” (parent) field associated with each asset in the system. (See the section “how to bulk import data” for more information on parent assets).

Facilities View

The asset Facilities view displays only the location-type assets (facilities) in a list view.

Note: A location or facility is a place, site, or location, where people or other assets are located. A location can be a physical site, such as a building or a warehouse, but it can also be used to delimit workspaces, such as production areas or offices, among others.

Locations can be used to locate both assets and user accounts, thus applying certain viewing restrictions (for example, user accounts that are limited to one location can only view the information contained in hierarchical levels below where they are located).

Equipment View

Equipment can be considered as a set of interconnected components and parts that perform a complete productive function. An typical example would be a pump set consisting of a pump, motor and gearbox (components) and associated parts such as a coupling between the motor and gearbox.

Note: In Fracttal, an equipment can be structured as a hierarchy of components arranged in a parent-child relationship.

Tools View

Tools can be defined as the assets required to complete or facilitate the execution of certain tasks. It is important to mention that the tools, as well as the spare parts, can be added within a warehouse.

Note: The Tools module only records generic tool data as the management. Specific quantities and costs of these assets are managed in the warehouse module.

Spare Parts View

Refers to the elements that are destined to be replaced by other similar ones (after completing their useful life), with the objective of guaranteeing the functional continuity of the machinery to which the said elements belong.

Note: The Parts module only records generic data for parts and supplies as the management specific quantities and costs of these assets are managed in the warehouse module.

Digitals View

Digital assets refers to tangible Information and Telecommunication (ITC) related assets, as well as non-tangible assets such as licenses that have value for the company and that may also be subject to maintenance processes.
