Configuring a minimum stock level in Fracttal One allows for more effective control of materials in warehouses, ensuring replenishment at the right time. This action improves predictability in inventory management. It is also possible to automate the sending of email notifications through the dispatcher, alerting those responsible when items reach the minimum stock level.
Step 1: Define the minimum stock level
- In the main menu, select Warehouses and then the desired warehouse.
- Access stock: In the chosen warehouse, click on stock in the side menu to view the registered items.
Select or create an item:
- If the item is already registered, you can search for it in the list and click on it to select it.
If it is not registered, click on "create item" to add it to the inventory.
- If the item is already registered, you can search for it in the list and click on it to select it.
Make the inventory adjustment: With the item selected, click on "Inventory adjustment" in the side menu. This option will allow you to modify the item's stock and make the necessary adjustments.
Define the minimum stock level:
On the item adjustment screen, look for the field minimum stock level.
Enter the minimum quantity you want to set for this item.
Make sure to complete the following fields, as applicable.
- Save the changes: Once you have entered the data, press "Save" to record the modifications made.
Step 2: Configure notification rule in the Dispatcher
Once you have established the minimum stock level, you can set up an automatic notification through a rule in the platform's dispatcher. This rule will send an email alert when the item reaches the minimum level you defined.
'1. Create a notification rule:
In the side menu, click on the "+" icon to create a new automation rule.
For this specific action, the fields must be completed as follows:
Module: Warehouse.
Submodule: Stock.
Event: "An item's stock is below the minimum level".
Description: Enter a clear name for the rule, such as "Minimum Stock Level Reached Notification".
'2. Save the notification rule: After completing the fields, click "Save" to register the notification rule.
'3. Configure the notification action:
In the Action submodule, select Send email as the action to be executed when the event is triggered.
Choose who will receive the notification. You can select a specific email address or a previously configured notification group.
'4. Save the action: After configuring the action, click "Save" to complete the notification setup.
