In this module, you can create maintenance plans linked to assets, where tasks can have different types of triggers (by date, meter reading, and event triggers).
Note: A task plan can be linked to many assets, while an asset can only have a single linked task plan. Therefore, if an asset is linked to a task plan, that plan must contain every task associated with the asset in question, as it cannot be simultaneously linked to another different task plan.
For example: If you have a fleet of 100 vehicles all of the same model, you only need to create a single task plan that includes all the activities and maintenance frequencies applied to that vehicle model. Afterwards, the 100 vehicles should be linked, considering that the activation dates or sequences can be configured independently for each of the 100 vehicles.
Task Plan Log
The change log records modifications made to a task plan, allowing you to review the edit history clearly and traceably.
What does the log record?
The change log includes modifications made to the following fields of the plan:
- Plan name — when the plan is renamed, the log shows the previous name and the updated name.
- Location — if the location associated with the plan is changed, the change is recorded with the previous and new values.
- Estimated time — modifications in this field are shown with the previous value and the updated value in each history entry.
- Downtime — like the estimated time, each change explicitly shows the value before and after the update.
