When a task plan includes triggers based on meter readings, it is necessary to link a specific meter to each asset associated with the plan. This link allows the system to automatically generate work orders based on the values recorded by the meter, instead of doing so by date or fixed frequency.
The configuration is done independently for each asset linked to the plan.
Step by Step
1. Access the Asset Configuration of the Plan
- Go to the Tasks module and open the task plan you want to configure.
- Select the Linked Assets tab.
- Identify the asset to which you want to link a meter and click on the corresponding edit icon.
2. Access the Asset's Triggers or Subtasks Configuration
By clicking on edit, a window opens with the asset configuration tabs within the plan: Calendars, Triggers, Subtasks, and Iterations.
Select the corresponding tab depending on where the meter is defined:
3. Select the Task and Link the Meter
- Click on the task that has the trigger or subtask based on meter reading.
- The system will open a window where you can:
- Create a new meter directly from this flow, or
- Select an existing meter, if it was previously created from the Meters module.
- Once the meter is selected or created, click Save to confirm the link.
