Fracttal BI allows you to create custom dashboards to track your operation's KPIs in one place. Each dashboard contains widgets, and each widget displays a chart built with the Fracttal One data you select.
Available data sources
Each widget uses one or more data sources:
- Work orders: status, asset, task, assignee, task type, estimated and actual duration, downtime, resources used, and dates.
- Pending tasks: tasks to be performed, including their overdue status, task plan, calculated date, and scheduled date.
- My requests: status, asset, requester, creation, incident, and resolution dates, and rating.
- Task plan: the values recorded in a plan's subtasks, along with the assignee, asset, and corresponding work order.
- Meter readings: the values recorded by your assets' meters, along with the reading date and unit.
- Out-of-range meter readings: the number of readings above and below the range, and the total.
- Sustained out-of-range readings: readings that remain out of range for a minimum duration in minutes.
Chart types
You can choose from area, line, column, bar, pie, table, metric, colored card, and radar charts. Here are some uses for each type:
Pie: work orders by status, priority, or asset type, and requests by status.
Column: work orders by month, assignee, or asset classification.
Bar: work orders by assignee, displayed as horizontal bars.
Line: the evolution of a meter's readings or subtask values.
Area: requests by status.
Table: detailed records, with the columns you select.
Metric: a single value from a meter, such as the total number of out-of-range readings, the latest value, the maximum, the minimum, or the average.
Colored card: the latest value from one or more meters, with a color based on the range in which it falls.
Create the dashboard
Create a new dashboard.
- Enter a description that identifies its purpose.
- Set the default time range.
If you want the data to update automatically, turn on auto-refresh and select the interval.
Add a widget
Within the dashboard, add a new widget.
Enter the chart name and select the chart type.
Add the data source and configure what the chart will display:
Work orders, pending tasks, and requests: select the date field that filters the data, such as the scheduled, creation, or closing date, and the fields displayed in the chart. In a table, select the columns.
Task plan: select the plan, task, and subtasks you want to analyze.
Meters: select the asset and meter. In the colored card, define the ranges and the color for each one.
If you want to compare data in the same chart, add another data source. For example, you can display two meters from the same asset in a line chart.
When you finish defining the data sources, complete the configuration.
Adjust the size and save
- Adjust the widget's size within the dashboard.
Save the changes.
