The Automator rules allow you to define the conditions that must be met and the actions that the system will automatically execute when these conditions are fulfilled. If an already created rule requires adjustments, you can edit its configuration at any time without needing to create a new one.
To edit an Automator rule, click on the rule you want to modify to access the options menu.
When you click edit, the system will display the window with the general, conditions, and actions tabs so you can make the desired edits.
If you want to enable or disable an existing rule, use the Enabled toggle available on each rule. While a rule remains disabled, the Automator will stop evaluating it and, therefore, will not execute any of the configured actions, such as sending notifications or other associated automations.
After making any changes, be sure to save them so they are applied correctly.
