The "Out of Service" status of an asset can be managed through the configuration in the Work Orders module.
The option "Set the out of service end date for assets with the task completion date" determines how and when this status ends.
By default, this option uses the Work Order completion date.
If enabled: the out of service status will be updated upon task completion, without the need for the Work Order to be fully completed, allowing for more agile asset management.
If disabled: for the out of service status to close, both the Work Order and the task must be completed, ensuring that the entire related process has been finished.
This option can be adjusted according to operational needs, providing flexibility in status management.
