From Fracttal One, the asset and maintenance management platform, we have functionality that allows users to customize their login experience. This feature allows you to define the default login module for each user, providing greater control and flexibility.

This allows users to customize their experience and have faster access to the areas of the platform they use the most. Let's take a closer look at how this feature works and how it applies to different user profiles.

Default Login Module Configuration:

To access this functionality, users must follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the top right where your name appears in Fracttal One.

  2. Click on configuration

  3. In the menu on the left side click on user account

  4. Select the personnel of your interest.

  5. There you will find a field called "Default Login Module Configuration".

  6. In this field, the following functions can be defined:

    A. "Allow Edit by User."

    B. "Display Main Dashboard."

    C. "Module."

    Detail:

A. Allow Edit by User: This option allows the user to select their own default login module, giving them full control over these settings.

B. Display Main Dashboard: With this option enabled, the display of the main Fracttal Dashboard is restricted, which can be useful for users who only need access to certain parts of the platform.

C. Module: This feature allows the user to select the module they wish to open as the default login. However, the options available will be restricted according to the active modules assigned to the user's permission group.

Considerations by User Profiles:

The default login module selection functionality applies differently to various user profiles in Fracttal. These considerations are detailed below:

  1. Administrator:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is predefined as enabled.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is predefined as enabled.

    • "Module" allows you to select the desired module as the default login.

  2. Customized:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is a selectable option.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is a selectable option.

    • "Module" allows you to select the desired module as the default login.

  3. Technician:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is a selectable option.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is a selectable option.

    • "Module" allows you to select the desired module as the default login.

  4. Limited Technical:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is predefined as disabled.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is predefined as disabled.

    • "Module" is predefined as "Work Orders".

  5. Reading only:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is a selectable option.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is a selectable option.

    • "Module" allows you to select the desired module as the default login.

  6. Applications:

    • "Allow Edit by User" is predefined as disabled.

    • "Display Main Dashboard" is predefined as disabled.

    • "Module" is predefined as "Request".

These permissions provide users with greater control over their experience on the platform. It allows for effective customization according to each user's needs and responsibilities, improving efficiency and convenience when accessing key Fracttal functions. This feature is especially beneficial for administrators and users who wish to tailor their experience on the platform according to their specific needs.
