How to reschedule a Task?

In Fracttal tasks are rescheduled by changing the task’s “Required by” date and time. Rescheduling is used when a task is delayed and a later required by date is needed, or if the task is to be completed sooner than the original recommended date.

In each of the available views (Kanban, Calendar, and Work Queues List View), carry out the following steps:

  1. To do this, simply enter the work orders submodule and select the pending tasks that you want to reschedule from any of the available views.

  2. The editing bar will be enabled, where the reschedule option will appear, click the “Bulk Reschedule” button.

  3. Add the rescheduled (updated) date and time in the new “New Date” section and add the reason for the change in the “Notes” section if required

  4. To save changes and reschedule the task, click the “Reschedule Task” button at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Then, upon clicking the reschedule option, a window will emerge where you can enter the date and the reason why the task is being rescheduled.

Finally, upon making the edits, you’ll just need to click on Reprogram to save the changes made.
